The aim is to collaborate and co-curate both individual and group exhibitions, as well as events with a strong interdisciplinary focus.

Splitart Projects, a newly established space in the heart of Vienna initiated by Michalis Argyrou and Georg Georgakopoulos, is dedicated to showcasing innovative proposals across diverse contemporary artistic practices and forms including visual arts, performance, video, cinema, fashion, and applied arts. Splitart Projects invites international artists from various fields to work alongside curator

s in a series of co-produced events, fostering experimental cross-disciplinary collaborations and facilitating a meaningful dialogue between the wide public and the arts.

Join us tonight for the screening of “Alan Wu” by Victor Karamanlis - an aspiring filmmaker based in Athens.
“Alan Wu” is a 2025 feature film (40 min), presented in 2K resolution (2560 × 1440 px), 25 fps, with AAC audio at 48 kHz in stereo.

Last night, Marion Fischer brought together a fantastic crowd for the screening of “Zwischen Echo und Resonanz”, an evening of digital art, discussion, and exchange. Through video and digital works reflecting on AI, algorithms, and online culture, the presentation sparked conversations that continued well beyond the final talk.

Yesterday’s screening at “Mirror, pixel & stars, Patrizier und Zünfte” featured “Mnemonic Nebulae” and “Splitting Mechanism: Refrain” by Vicky Betsou

Through photogrammetry, point clouds, fragmented spaces, and symbolic narratives, the works explored memory as a fluid digital landscape, alongside the fragile mechanisms of human relationships and their gradual transformation over time.

In an act of personal archaeology and digital reconstruction, Mnemonic Nebulae (2024) draws its raw material from the very body of memory: the artist’s childhood home, built in 1852. Just before its final renovation, the artist returns to the space one last time, scanning every corner and every crack through photogrammetry—a technique that translates light and matter into data.
Mnemonic Nebulae positions itself within a contemporary lineage of new media practices that re-examine the concept of memory through technology, engaging with ideas of exosomatic memory, collective remembrance, and the displacement of “sites of memory” into the digital realm.

The video Projection “Splitting Mechanism - Refrain” is part of a larger section of work entitled “Splitting Mechanism” which comprises of two multichannel video installations, a sculptural installation and this video projection as an epilogue.
The ravens in the video explore and try to detect and decode pieces of a fragmented world, a symbol of the natural deterioration of human relationships involving a course of no return.

Last night at we opened “Radetzkystraße Festspiele 2026” with the screening of “Dead Brony: The Cave Concert”, Kostis Stafylakis’ latest impersonation in as series of fabricated characters.

Until May 10, you have the opportunity to experience the works of the artists featured in “Mirror, Pixel & Stars – Patrizier und Zünfte”, as a part of our exciting new initiative centered on Radetzkystraße. Residents and visitors are invited to engage with contemporary art within the distinctive urban setting of Vienna’s historic 3rd district.

Opening “Radetzkystraße Festspiele 2026” tonight at 8:30 pm., Kostis Stafylakis screening “Dead Brony: The Cave Concert” at «Mirror, pixel & stars - Patrizier und Zünfte»

“Dead Brony: The Cave Concert” is a video introducing Dead Brony, Stafylakis’ latest impersonation in as series of fabricated characters. The video inaugurates Dead Brony, the third chapter of a Trilogy of works that began with Chloroquine Juggalo (2021) and continued with GZPRM GOPNIK (2023). Dead Brony borrows from the aesthetics and semantics of Bronies, e.g. adult fans of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic animated television series. In the video, a very pale brony descends into the depths of an attican cave for a one-person gig.
