ANNOUNCING OUR NEXT PRODUCTION – COME FROM AWAY

Following the incredible success of our sell-out production of We Will Rock You, Exmouth Musical Theatre Company is delighted to announce our next production...

⭐COME FROM AWAY⭐

From the Tony and Olivier Award-winning writers Irene Sankoff and David Hein, Come From Away tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded airline passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them with open arms in the aftermath of September 11th.

Filled with unforgettable music, humour, heart and humanity, this extraordinary musical celebrates kindness, community and the power of coming together when it matters most.

Unlike many traditional musicals, Come From Away has no principal cast and ensemble divide. Every member of the company is a featured storyteller, making this a unique and exciting opportunity for performers who love acting, singing and working as part of a strong ensemble.

🏆 We Will Rock You Cast Awards 2026 🏆

What a week it's been! Alongside our post-show celebrations, we were delighted to present a few special cast awards, voted for by the company themselves.

⚡ Don't Stop Me Now Award – Most Energetic Performer
Awarded to Brad Curran, whose boundless energy, enthusiasm and commitment never seemed to run out!

❤️ Somebody We Love Award – The Members' Member Award
Awarded to Robyn Pickering, a true friend, supporter and valued member of the company who embodies everything that makes our theatre family so special.

🎤 I Want To Break Free Award – Best Newcomer

🎸 That's a wrap! 🎸

After an incredible week, We Will Rock You has officially finished its run.

Every single performance played to sold-out audiences, and what audiences they were! The energy, support, laughter, cheers, standing ovations and pure love for this show have been beyond anything we could have hoped for.

But last night gave us a moment we'll never forget.

As the cast filled the auditorium after the final curtain call, the audience began screaming for more. What followed was a completely spontaneous encore of Bohemian Rhapsody that saw cast and audience singing together at the top of their lungs. The atmosphere was absolutely electric. The entire theatre became one giant choir, united by the music of Queen.

It was one of those magical theatre moments that can't be planned, can't be rehearsed and can never truly be recreated. It was simply extraordinary.

To everyone who bought a ticket, sang along, cheered, laughed, cried, danced in their seats and supported this production – thank you. You helped make this a week we'll remember for a very long time.

What an incredible week it has been!

Since opening night, we've been blown away by the support from our audiences. Full houses, standing ovations, amazing feedback and an atmosphere that has been absolutely electric at every performance.

To everyone who has bought a ticket, cheered, laughed, sung along, applauded and supported us – thank you. You have made this week one we will never forget.

We couldn't have asked for a better run of shows, and there are still TWO chances to join the party today!

A huge thank you to Krispies Fish & Chips for looking after the cast and crew of We Will Rock You during our get-in weekend at Exmouth Pavilion.

With a theatre full of people working hard behind the scenes to bring this production to life, having a delicious meal delivered and ready to go was very much appreciated! Your fantastic service, flexibility and great food helped keep everyone fuelled through a busy weekend of set building, lighting, sound, costumes and rehearsals.
