The S***m Countdown continues! 🎉 Today’s reason #2 to support World Vasectomy Day:

“Support World Vasectomy Day to educate men about the importance of responsible ej*******on.”

For too long, men have placed the burden of pregnancy prevention on women, often blaming them when unintended pregnancies occur. Yet, it is men who are responsible for the vast majority of unintended pregnancies through unprotected ej*******on.

By shifting the focus to men’s responsibility, we can move the conversation about reproductive health from control and punishment to prevention and fairness.

When men take ownership of their role in preventing unintended pregnancies, it creates a more equitable and supportive environment for everyone. This is not just about individual choice. It’s about shared responsibility and respect.

The Opening Ceremony of World Vasectomy Day Argentina 2025 brought together national and international leaders committed to equality in sexual and reproductive health.

The panel included Nicolás Kreplak, Minister of Health of the Buenos Aires Province; Carlota Ramirez, Provincial Director of Gender Equity in Health of the Buenos Aires Province, Lucia Portos, Undersecretary of Gender and Sexual Diversity Policies of the Ministry of Women and Diversity; and Jonathan Stack, Director and Co-Founder of WVD.

The Collaboration Agreement was signed to reaffirm the value of care, networking, and public policies that expand rights. This collaboration reinforces the shared commitment to advance towards a more inclusive sexual and reproductive health policy for men.

A historic step that reflects the ongoing collaboration between the State and health teams, which drives us to continue working towards a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable system for all people.
