🌱 Կարևոր ձեռքբերում
Ուրախ ենք հայտնելու, որ ՀԻՄԿ ՀԿ-ն պաշտոնապես հավատարմագրվել է որպես դիտորդ ՄԱԿ-ի անապատացման դեմ պայքարի կոնվենցիայի (UNCCD) կողմերի համաժողովում։
Ամիսներ առաջ UNCCD քարտուղարությունից նամակ էինք ստացել ժամանակավոր հավատարմագրման մասին։ Սակայն վերջնական հավատարմագրումը ենթակա էր կոնվենցիայի կողմերի պաշտոնական հաստատմանը։
Դիտորդ կազմակերպությունների հավատարմագրումը ներառված էր Ուլան Բատորում կայացած UNCCD COP17-ի առաջին օրվա օրակարգում։
ՀԻՄԿ-ի համար սա ավելին է, քան դիտորդի պաշտոնական կարգավիճակը։ Սա հնարավորություն է տալիս առավել ակտիվորեն ներգրավվելու UNCCD գործընթացում, մեր փորձը ներդնելու շրջակա միջավայրի կառավարման, հանրային մասնակցության և երիտասարդության ներգրավվածության ոլորտում, ինչպես նաև հողերի դեգրադացիայի, երաշտի, հողերի կայուն կառավարման և վերականգնման վերաբերյալ Հայաստանի քաղհասարակության տեսակետները ներկայացնելու միջազգային քննարկումներում։
Մեր թիմն անհամբեր սպասում է UNCCD քաղաքացիական հասարակության շրջանակում իմաստալից համագործակցությանը 🌍🌿
An important milestone for the Public Awareness and Monitoring Centre NGO!
We are happy to share that the “PA&MC” NGO has been officially accredited as an observer to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) Conference of the Parties.
Earlier this year, we received a letter from the UNCCD Secretariat confirming that, following the review of our documentation, PAMC was provisionally accredited. However, this was not yet the final approval - the accreditation was subject to a formal decision by the Parties at COP17.
The accreditation of observer organizations was included on the agenda of the very first day of UNCCD COP17 in Ulaanbaatar, making this moment especially meaningful for us.
For PA&MC, this is more than a formal status. It is an opportunity to become more actively engaged in the UNCCD process, contribute our experience in environmental governance, public participation and youth engagement, and bring the perspectives of Armenian civil society into international discussions on land degradation, drought, sustainable land management and restoration.
We look forward to this new chapter and to meaningful cooperation within the UNCCD civil society community. 🌍🌿
