Web3 Armenia made a strong presence at Digitec 2025, not only by inviting Gavin Wood but also by organizing an inspiring fireside chat dedicated to exploring the future of Web3 technologies in Armenia.
The session was held in an open, roundtable format, true to the spirit of a fireside chat, encouraging free dialogue and shared exploration among both speakers and participants.

The experts Andranik (Director of Payme), Silva ( Business Developer at XChange Global), and Razmik (Binance Armenia community Manager) touched upon a number of important topics, such as:

🇦🇲 Crypto regulations in Armenia and the challenges of an overregulated approach that will hinder Web3 ecosystem growth.

📚 The importance of self-learning and available free educational resources (like Binance Academy, Web3 Foundation, Bitcoin Edo's educational videos and materials).

🤝 Community involvement highlighting how joining communities such as Web3 Foundation, Binance Armenia, Solana Armenia, and TON Armenia can accelerate learning and collaboration.

The event concluded with an engaging networking session, where participants continued exchanging ideas, contacts, and future collaboration opportunities proving once again that Armenia’s Web3 community is growing stronger and more connected than ever.

A milestone week for Armenian community! ✨

For the first time in the region, Gavin Wood — Co-founder of Ethereum, Founder of Polkadot, and Founder of the Web3 Foundation — visited Armenia.

He took part in the DigiTec Ecosystem Talk, where the discussion — moderated by Artyom Harutyunyan, Co-founder of the Web3 Armenia Foundation — covered key topics shaping the Web3 space: regulations, freedom of speech, and the future of education in decentralized ecosystems.

Earlier, Gavin Wood met with Armenia’s Minister of High-Tech Industry, Մխիթար Հայրապետյան / Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, to discuss strengthening Armenia’s role in the global Web3 ecosystem and his plan to establish a Web3 University — a major step toward technological, educational, and economic growth. 🚀

We believe this visit will contribute to the growth of Armenia’s Web3 ecosystem and inspire further collaborations.

Միջոցառումը համախմբեց աշխարհի առաջատար մասնագետներին և նորարարներին, ովքեր ձևավորում են ապակենտրոնացված տեխնոլոգիաների ապագան։ Սա հիանալի հնարավորություն էր նոր կապեր հաստատելու, գաղափարներով փոխանակվելու և համագործակցության նոր ուղղություններ բացահայտելու համար։

Մեծ ուրախությամբ հանդիպեցինք նաև տաղանդավոր հայ մասնագետների, ովքեր ակտիվորեն ներգրավված են միջազգային Web3 համայնքում։

Սա ևս մեկ հնարավորություն էր՝ Հայաստանը ներգրավելու Web3 էկոհամակարգում։

The conference brought together global leaders, innovators, and builders shaping the decentralized future. It was an incredible opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and explore collaborations with projects and companies from around the world.

Հայաստանում կայացավ առաջին Armenian Web3 – CJN Accelerator ճանաչողական հանդիպումը՝ ՀՀ բարձր տեխնոլոգիական արդյունաբերության նախարարության, Web3 Հայաստան շահույթ չհետապնդող հիմնադրամի, Լիբանանի միջազգային բիզնես ասոցիացիաների ցանցի (L.I.B.A.N) և CJN Accelerator-ի ջանքերով։ Միջոցառման ընթացքում ներկայացվեց Հայաստանի ներդրումային միջավայրը և քննարկվեց, թե ինչպես մեր երկիրը կարող է դառնալ տարածաշրջանային Web3 հաբ։

The first Armenian Web3 – CJN Accelerator introductory meeting was held in Yerevan through the efforts of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, the Web3 Armenia non-profit foundation, the Lebanon International Business Associations Network (L.I.B.A.N), and CJN Accelerator. During the event, Armenia’s investment environment was presented, and discussions focused on how the country can become a regional Web3 hub.

Speakers included Gevorg Meliksetyan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Wahid Chammas, Head of International Blockchain Advisory at CJN Accelerator, and Robert Jreissati, Founder and President of the National Lebanese-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the Lebanon International Business Federation (L.I.B.A.N).

This meeting represents another important step in showcasing Armenia’s technological potential and enabling Armenian professionals to participate on international platforms.
