FLORA women's NGO

The f՝ “FLORA” women's NGOi is “Flora” ecological NGO, which realized a number of projects, and has its contribution in solving ecological problems of the Shirak region during years of its activity. The main problem the NGO addresses is the limitation of Armenian women’s role in different fields of life. The beneficiaries of our NGO are girls, women and children who reside in the city of Gyumri

and its surrounding villages. Our NGO intends to enable women and girls to access information, resources and services in support of their rights. We want to provide girls and women with knowledge and skills to improve their health, develop economic independence and increase their involvement in life outside the family unit. We will develop partnerships with men and boys to enable them to recognize the negative effect of gender inequalities on their own lives, change how they view and treat women and girls, and to see the benefits of gender equality for us all. We will educate ourselves and others about the impact of violence and conflict on women and girls in our communities. The organization actively collaborates with local NGOs and state structures.
