During March-August 2025 “Rural Youth against gender-based violence and gender stereotypes” project was implemented by the Caucasian Institute for Peace Problems Research NGO with the support of the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe. On May 9-13, 2025 the main activity of the project the training course on gender-based violence took place in Gyumri, Armenia. The main aim of project was to develop competences of young people of rural communities of Shirak region of Armenia on addressing gender-based violence and combating gender stereotypes in youth work through non-formal education. As a result of the training course, 25 young people from different communities of Shirak region - had the opportunity to gain knowledge on gender-based violence and skills taking action against gender-based violence promoting its practical application in their communities; to develop their competences in developing and running follow up activities on combating gender-based violence and gender stereotypes strengthening skills and knowledge of other young people from communities of Shirak region of Armenia. In June -July 2025 8 follow up activities on gender-based violence were organized by the project 25 participants in their communities.


2025 թվականի մարտ-օգոստոս ամիսներին «Խաղաղության հիմնախնդիրների հետազոտության Կովկասյան ինստիտուտ» հասարակական կազմակերպությունն իրականացրեց «Համայնքների երիտասարդությունն ընդդեմ գենդերային բռնության և կարծրատիպերի» ծրագիրը Եվրոպայի Խորհրդի Եվրոպական երիտասարդական հիմնադրամի աջակցությամբ: 2025 թվականի մայիսի 9-13-ը Գյումրիում- Հայաստան, տեղի ունեցավ ծրագրի հիմնական միջոցառումը-գենդերային բռնության վերաբերյալ ուսուցողական դասընթացը: Ծրագրի հիմնական նպատակն էր զարգացնել Հայաստանի Շիրակի մարզի համայնքների երիտասարդների կարողությունները՝ գենդերային բռնության և կարծրատիպերի դեմ պայքարի վերաբերյալ, ոչ ֆորմալ կրթության միջոցով: Դասընթացի արդյունքում Շիրակի մարզի համայնքների 25 երիտասարդ հնարավորություն ունեցան ձեռք բերել գիտելիքներ գենդերային բռնության վերաբերյալ և հմտություններ՝ իրենց համայնքներում բռնության դեմ պայքարելու համար, զարգացնել իրենց կարողությունները գենդերային բռնության և կարծրատիպերի դեմ պայքարի վերաբերյալ ծրագրերի մշակման և իրականացման գործում՝ նպաստելով Շիրակի մարզի համայնքների այլ երիտասարդների կողմից հմտությունների ու գիտելիքների ձեռքբերմանը: 2025 թվականի հունիս-հուլիս ամիսներին դասընթացի 25 մասնակիցները իրենց համայնքներում կազմակերպել են գենդերային բռնության վերաբերյալ 8 միջոցառումներ։
