From a pilot project to a city-wide initiative, the transformation of Vloraâs bus stations is taking shape. đđż
What started as a winning CliMobility City Lab pilot project, focused on the reconstruction of 4 bus stops along Ismail Qemali Boulevard, has grown into a larger initiative. Today, 11 bus stations across Vlora are undergoing reconstruction.
The project aims to create safer, more accessible, comfortable, and sustainable public transport facilities through structural improvements, shading, lighting, signage, and other interventions that better integrate the stations into the urban environment.

Ajo që nisi si një projekt pilot fitues i CliMobility City Lab, i fokusuar në rikonstruksionin e 4 stacioneve të autobusëve përgjatë Bulevardit Ismail Qemali, ka kaluar në një fazë më të gjerë zbatimi. Sot, 11 stacione autobusësh në të gjithë Vlorën janë në proces rikonstruksioni.
Projekti synon të krijojë hapësira më të sigurta, më të aksesueshme, më komode dhe më të qëndrueshme për transportin publik, përmes përmirësimeve strukturore, elementeve të hijëzimit, ndriçimit, sinjalistikës dhe ndërhyrjeve të tjera që kontribuojnë në modernizimin e stacioneve dhe integrimin e tyre më të mirë në mjedisin urban.

The pilot project was developed by ArbĂ«r Xhomaqi and Margarita Kerkeshi with the support of POLIS University as part of the CliMobility CityLab. The activity is implemented by GIZ in cooperation with ALBICT, on behalf of the German Government, within the Regional Climate Partnership between Germany and the Western Balkans. The initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Vlora. đđż
