🇦🇮🤝🇸🇽 Rotary Connections Across the Islands!

Yesterday, Rotary Club of Anguilla President Kashamar Lewis Cassie had the pleasure of travelling to St. Maarten to represent our club at the Rotary Club of St. Martin Rotary Club of Saint Martin Sunrise’s Change of Board Ceremony held at the Simpson Bay Resort.

We extend our congratulations to incoming President Jina and her leadership team as they prepare for an exciting Rotary year ahead. Thank you to the Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise for the warm hospitality and a wonderful evening celebrating service, fellowship, and leadership.

But the Rotary spirit didn’t stop there! 😊

What began as a visit to attend a Change of Board ceremony quickly turned into a hands-on service opportunity when President Cassie joined President Alex and members of the Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunset in installing doors on one of their community Little Free Libraries.

Apparently, Rotarians can never just “visit” anywhere. Give us a few minutes and we’ll find a service project to help with! 🔨📚💙

It was a wonderful reminder that Rotary’s impact extends far beyond club meetings and ceremonies. Whether attending an event, building a project, or lending a helping hand, Rotarians are united by a shared commitment to Service Above Self.

GREAT BAY--During the Rotary District 7020 Conference held in Kingston, Jamaica, from April 27 through May 2, 2026, the Rotary Clubs of St. Maarten/St. Martin and Anguilla were recognized with a variety of awards for their continued efforts to Unite for Good and to do good in the world. Rotary in St. Maarten/St. Martin and Anguilla dates back to 1972, and the Rotary Clubs on St. Maarten/St. Martin and Anguilla continue to thrive.
