Globalization Programs Support Organization Inc (GPSOI), based in Jacksonville, Florida, conducted its first food distribution on January 12, 2026, in the Marmol district of Afghanistan.

In preparation for Ramadan, food assistance was provided to three highly vulnerable families, selected based on need. This initiative was funded by generous donations from the people of Florida and marked GPSOI’s first humanitarian activity since its establishment in 2025.

Each family received a food package including flour, rice, cooking oil, beans, eggplant paste, sugar, and salt.
