Season’s Greetings and Best Wishes for the New Year 2026

On behalf of the ITF Afghanistan President Master Shirzai, Board of Directors, and all Practitioners, we respectfully extend our sincere congratulations and best wishes to Grand Master Prof. Ri Yong Son, President of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) and IMGC, as well as to the Executive Board Members of the ITF and the leaders and members of all Continental Federations, on the occasion of the New Year 2026.

May the coming year bring peace, good health, unity, and continued progress to the global ITF Taekwon-Do family. We look forward to a year marked by enhanced cooperation, sustainable development, and the continued promotion of Taekwon-Do’s core values and principles worldwide.

یک یادگار ویژه برای تمام دوستداران تی‌کوان‌دو ITF در افغانستان! ❤️

این عکس فوق‌العاده که چهره‌های بزرگ و محترم تی‌کوان‌-دو ITF را نشان میدهد، به‌عنوان نشانه‌ای ویژه از محبت تقدیم می‌شود به همه دوستداران، اعضا، شاگردان و خانواده بزرگ تی‌کوان‌-دو ITF در افغانستان — به‌ویژه کسانی که مسیر اصلی (ارجینل) و اصیل جنرال چوی هونگ هی، بنیان‌گذار تی‌کوان‌-دو، را دنبال می‌کنند.

در سال ۱۹۹۵، ماستر شیرزی با جنرال چوی هونگ هی فقید، بنیان‌گذار تی‌کوان‌-دو، پیمانی صادقانه بست:

«با این افتخار بزرگ و مسئولیت به‌عنوان نماینده رسمی (شما) ITF در افغانستان — من تی‌کوان‌-دو ITF را در سراسر کشور ترویج و تقویت میبخشم، و به همه دوستداران و راراونان تی‌کوان‌-دو کمک میکنم تا مسیر اصلی و اصیل ITF را در افغانستان دنبال کنند.»

Following the historic celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Taekwon-Do, we are deeply honored to announce that Master Hed Mohammad Shirzai, Founder and Hon. Life President of the All Afghanistan National Taekwon-Do Association ITF (AANTA), has been personally presented with a prestigious award by Prof. Grand Master RI Yong Son, President of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), in recognition of his outstanding and lifelong contribution to the development, preservation, and promotion of Original Taekwon-Do. 🏆

Official National Governing Body (NGB) and recognized representative of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) in Afghanistan.

It is worth highlighting that AANTA, under the visionary leadership of its Founder and the Father of Modern ITF Taekwon-Do in Afghanistan, Master Hed Mohammad Shirzai, holds a remarkable legacy. Master Shirzai has the distinct honor of possessing both the ITF Dan Diploma and the Official Representation Certificate personally signed by the late Founder of ITF, General Choi Hong Hi, since 1995 a privilege that remains unmatched in Afghanistan.

Throughout its history, AANTA has made outstanding and enduring contributions to the growth and strength of ITF Taekwon-Do in Afghanistan and the region. Its impact and achievements speak for themselves well recognized and respected by the global Taekwon-Do community.

جشن نوروز و سال نو مبارک باد!

هییت رهبری انجمن ملی تی کوان – دو آی تی اف افغانستان فرا رسیدن سال ۱۴۰۴ هجری شمسی را به تمام دوستان و هموطنان عزیز تبریک عرض نموده و خواهان یک سال پر از خوشی، خوشبختی، موفقیت و صحتمندی به تمام کافه بزرگ و مسلمان افغانستان و جهان میباشد.

هر روز تان نوروز / نو روز تان پیروز

فرخی شاعر بزرگ دربار غزنه، دوستان و عزیزانش را در نو روز با این کلمات به بوستان دعوت می نماید که تا جهان باقیست لطافت کلماتش جاویدان خواهند بود:

بیا در بوستان چونان که رسم باستان باشد
تو سروی و گلی و سرو و گل در بوستان باشد

دوستان، عزیزان و هموطنان شریف!
شما خوب می دانید که تجلیل از نوروز که از روز اول سال آغاز می گردد یکی از سنت های اصیل دور تاريخ سه هزار سالۀ مردم کشور ما است که از سال های دور و هر سال از طرف مردم با فرهنگ، درباریان و شاهان بزرگ کشور مخصوصاً در دوران سلاطین بزرگ غزنه، با عظمت و جلال تجلیل می گردید.
خوشبختانه که فرزندان با فرهنگ این وطن، زن و مرد، دختر و پسر امروز، این جشن باستانی را که ارزش صاحبقدر فرهنگی دارد، نه تنها به بهانۀ این که با بهار، گل و سبزه و خوشگواری آغاز می گردد، تجلیل می نمایند، بلکه آنرا از جهتی جشن می گیرند، خوشی می نمایند و با حضورش فال نیک می گیرند، چون که مقام و ارزش باستانی، فرهنگی، مردمی و انسانی دارد. سال نو و نوروز که هر دو در روز اول بهار تولد می گردد، آرزوهای نو طبیعی و حیاتی برای همه کسانی که این عروس طبیعت را در آغوش می گیرند، نیز همراه دارد.
نوروز تنها یک روز عادی شروع سال نیست. نوروز مقام و بزرگواری فرهنگی عمیق و ریشه دارد که با تمامی آداب و روش های برگزاری این روز خجسته هرسال امید صلح، تغییر، بهبودی، رفاه و خوشبختی را برای ميليون ها انسان در سراسر جهان با خود، ارمغان می آورد.
مردم افغانستان عزیز مانند ميليون ها مردمان کشور های دیگر، شخصیت فرهنگی نوروز و سال نو را حرمت می نمایند. چون که جشن نوروز با طراوت، بهار وگل وسبزه آغاز می گردد، چشم امید فرزندان وطن چه در داخل مملکت و یا بیرون از کشور، آرزوی صلح، صفایی، صداقت، پاکدامنی، راستگویی، خواهری و برادری را از هر فرزند پاک نفس و صادق این مرز وبوم دارند.

این آرزو وقتی برآورده می شود که قلب هر فرزند افغان با طراوت و باران آسمان صفا و پاک بهاری این خاک شریف شستشو گردد و از کدورت و خیانت پاک گردیده، با عطر گل های دشت و دمن وطن عطر آلود شود و صداقت و همبستگی ملی در قالب ارزش های معنوی و فرهنگی کشور، برای بهبود حالت فعلی ،صلح، آرامش و بهار دائمی به میان آید.

AANTA official representative ITF for Afghanistan

We acknowledge Chang Ung as the former legal and Rightful president of the International Taekwon-Do Federation, with Master Ri Yong Son as successor and current President.

General Choi Hong Hi, Founder of Taekwon-Do, left his last words to the members of the ITF Executive Board and the following is an excerpt:

“… I am the happiest man who has done everything for Taekwon-Do in my life. It is time to introduce Mr. Chang Ung proudly in public. Please carry on [the] propaganda [that] Mr. Chang Ung is the tallest and in the highest position in the ITF. I have always worried about a successor to the president; however, my mind is set for there is Mr. Chang Ung.”

The Special Congress of the ITF was held in the People’s Palace of Culture in Pyongyang, DPR Korea September 2002. Here, the Presidents and representatives from 46 national TKD federations unanimously elected Mr. Chang Ung, who is a member of the International Olympic Committee, as president of the ITF. The participants at the Special Congress congratulated Mr. Chang Ung, the President, with warm clapping.
