Police Film Festival Police Film Festival The Police Film festival is aimed at creatively expressing the relationship between police and civil society.

Filmmakers from around the world are invited to interpret the experiences and perspectives of society and the police through short film and documentary. The festival seeks to act as a safe platform for dialogue where the role of civil police in society can be defined and understood and both police and citizens can discuss a resolution to their problems. Afghanistan has been selected to host this f

estival because of the contention surrounding its police force and the need for open discussion of the police force. This is an independent initiative with the collaborative support of civil society, filmmakers, United Nations, Afghanistan Ministry of Interior and Afghan and International media.
