Job Description:
Coordination of programs and projects’ operations and implementation;
Monitoring and analysis programs and projects’ budget;
Develop and maintain a detailed program or project implementation plan;
Monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance;
Creating outreach activities in the provinces and maintaining long term relations;
Supervising trainers both in Kabul and provinces;
Writing programs and projects progressing reports and submitting them to donor on timely basis;
Organize and establish meetings with donors, partner organizations, and other stake holders to foster positive business relationship;
Traveling to the provinces for monitoring of the progress of program and projects;
Ensure timely submission of all contractual requirements, including reporting, with coordination of all stakeholders.
Lead on grant amendments and responses to donor requests.
Ensure program and sector understanding of donor commitments and contractual compliance.
Assess grant issues and prepare regular analysis for Director/ Deputy Director, particularly flagging problematic cases for attention.
Identify future resource needs in relevant sectors and highlight future funding gaps, in dialogue with program manager.
Leading the process of consultation and proposal writing, including coordination with sector experts to prepare new concept notes and full proposals to donors.
Leading on donor relations and correspondence.
Develop constructive working relationships with donors.
Represent HOME in external meetings with relevant donors.
Working with program and communications staff to develop high quality communication materials.
Working with the Finance Team to monitor grant expenditure, variance and financial issues.
Preparing the monthly financial reports as per the requirement of donors.
Working with HR on accurate tracking of staffing contracts, as they relate to grants, to help ensure adequate HUMAN RESOURCE planning within grants, and prior notice regarding the end of staff contracts.
Develop and maintain systematic branding for proposals and reports, working to standardize stylistic elements of proposals, reports, etc. Oversight of all donor electronic records, including ensuring organization-wide use.
Administration Related Responsibilities
Coordinating with other departments of HOME for administrative arrangements;
Develop and maintain proper filing systems at HOME.
