Growing Decks | Q3 Update
July to September has been a pretty exciting few months for Growing Decks. A lot of the things we’ve been working on behind the scenes have finally started happening for real.
We completed our first client carbon offsets, which was a huge milestone for us after all the work that went into getting everything set up properly.
We completed our first private aviation offset, taking another part of Growing Decks from an idea and offering into an actual completed client offset.
Through our carbon programme, more tonnes of CO₂ are now supporting fuel-efficient cookstoves in Malawi, with certificates, serial numbers and permanent cancellation records behind the offsets.
We started building our referral network, working with people within the industry who believe in what we’re doing and want to introduce Growing Decks to their own networks.
And we ended the quarter at the Monaco Yacht Show. We spent the week networking, meeting people across the yachting and private aviation industries, introducing Growing Decks and making some really exciting new connections. (apparently networking means I actually have to pitch 😂 I promise I am better at GD than I am at pitching it 😂)
There has been plenty happening behind the scenes too. certificates, client hampers, website work, emails, new ideas and lots of learning as we go 😂 A few photos from the last couple weeks because apparently building a business also involves sticking logos on everything that has a surface, running around Antibes in Growing Decks shirts and handing out as many cards as we possibly can 🤔
We’re still at the beginning, the last few months was a big one for us because we started seeing the things we’ve been building actually being used by clients.
