Trust, transparency, and accountability remain central to credible scholarly publishing. Yet weaknesses in editorial and peer review processes, particularly in parts of Asia and the Middle East, continue to challenge research integrity.

Nasrin Ghassemi barghi highlights the importance of clear communication, well-defined reviewer criteria, and meaningful inclusion of regional perspectives. Strengthening these practices through collaboration, education, and consistent editorial responsibility is essential. Only through sustained, transparent action can scholarly publishing genuinely support fairness, trust, and the advancement of knowledge.
