Driven by the belief that civic responsibility and respect for the law are the cornerstones of success, the Filipino community leaders in Dubai set out with a bold ambition.

In June 2018, that vision took shape with the official application for a Civil Organization license. Today, as the Filipino Social Club (FILSOC) celebrates 7 years of dedicated community service, we reflect on a journey deeply aligned with Dubai’s transformative vision to shape a cohesive and innovative future.

This is the essence of the philosophy, where ambition is translated into tangible outcomes and achievements of today continue to shape the community of tomorrow.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched a campaign called Dubai-it.

انطلاقاً من الإيمان بأن المسؤولية المجتمعية واحترام القانون هما ركيزتا النجاح، شرع قادة الجالية الفلبينية في دبي في مسيرتهم مدفوعين بطموحٍ كبير. وفي يونيو 2018، تبلورت تلك الرؤية بتقديم طلب رسمي للحصول على ترخيص "منظمة مجتمعية". واليوم، وبينما يحتفل "النادي الاجتماعي الفلبيني" (FILSOC) بمرور سبع سنوات من الخدمة المجتمعية المتفانية، نستعرض رحلةً تتماشى تماماً مع رؤية دبي التحولية الرامية إلى بناء مستقبلٍ متلاحم ومبتكر. وهذا هو جوهر فلسفة (دبي_إت)، حيث يتحول الطموح إلى نتائج ملموسة، وتواصل إنجازات الحاضر تشكيل ملامح مجتمع الغد. لقد أطلق صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، حملة تحت شعار . نحن فخورون بالمساهمة في هذه المدينة التي نعتبرها وطناً لنا. 🇦🇪🇵🇭

Licensed on June 24, 2019, FILSOC was established as a premier non-political, non-religious, and non-profit public association in the Emirate.

⚖️ Officially Licensed & Regulated
Legal Framework: Operating under Federal decree-law No. 50 of 2023 and Dubai Law No. (12) of 2017, FILSOC maintains its official seat of office within Dubai.

Government Alignment: Fully licensed and regulated by the Community Development Authority (CDA) of the Government of Dubai and The UAE Ministry of Community and Empowerment.

Civic Duty: A Public Association deeply dedicated to community welfare and strictly compliant with the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates.
