What's your opinion?

I am seeing more and more injuries from OCR/Hyrox/Crossfit/HIIT and similar exercise regimens.

Is it due to increased participants due to their popularity? - undoubtedly

Improper coaching?

Improper facilities ?

We are tough so we train through the pain?

Personally I believe it's a combination of factors.

Let's get this clear- I LOVE these events, a few years younger or rather a myriad of injuries less and I would be first in line for every one of them.

Sports, physical activity, exercise, call it what you want, is an essential element for a human being. Why don't we do enough of it and not encourage our children even more?

Some are naturals, some are enthusiastic, some are stubborn, some are downright antagonistic, yet, our kids need it even more than us adults.

For many years, researchers have been concerned about a drop in children’s throwing and catching skills.

Opening ceremony Olympic Games

My first was in Barcelona long long time ago.

The Olympic movement made me the person I am today, and I will always be grateful to the people that gave me that opportunity.

Now, I sit back and actually see the opening ceremony because as an official in the march pass you see zilch 🥴

Thanks to Lucienne Attard and Ivan Esposito Sports and Exercise Medicine is a recognized specialty throughout the EU and training will imminently start in Malta.
