Kush Crisis in Sierra Leone – Time for Real Action, Not Blame
It’s worrying how defensive some leaders have become whenever the issue of Kush drugs is raised. This is not about politics or pride — it’s about saving lives.
The government must recognize that this problem is deeper than it looks. Many young people are victims of addiction and manipulation; they need help, not judgment.
Instead of pointing fingers, we should be talking about real solutions. The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) needs proper funding, strong leadership, and full support to fight this crisis effectively.
We need awareness programs, rehabilitation centers, and strict control of the supply chain.
Let’s stop the blame game — and start saving our youth.
