Our Story

I want to say simply. I was a mother who was unaware of the hard facts of life. I forgot that in 1962, when I was nine years old, my friend and many her siblings got perished under the weight of the disease. I had to be reminded; to think of those days which my mother wanted me to forget so I could continue to live my innocent life. By 2000, after I had donated my kidney to my son I woke up with the knowledge that chronic kidney disease was here to stay forever with me.
