🐝 **Strengthening Our Connection with Slovenia 🇦🇪🇸🇮**
We are pleased to announce a new partnership between the **Beekeepers Foundation UAE** and the **Beekeeping Foundation Noč Boštjan** in Slovenia.
Our relationship with Slovenia has grown through several meaningful collaborations over the years. Through **Nahala, our program supporting Emirati women in beekeeping**, we have connected with Slovenian partners through training, knowledge exchange, and opportunities to strengthen the skills and visibility of our local women beekeepers.
Our cooperation has also extended to **apitourism**. In 2024, we organized the roundtable **“Building Bridges Through Apitourism: Exploring the Slovenian Model and its Potential for the UAE,”** facilitated by **Tanja Arih Korošec, Managing Director of Aritours, Slovenia**, bringing together key stakeholders to exchange ideas and explore future opportunities for apitourism in the UAE.
In parallel, our connection with Slovenia has been strengthened through the **Embassy of Slovenia in the UAE**, including celebrating **World Bee Day together for two consecutive years**, helping raise awareness about bees, beekeeping, and sustainability.
This new partnership with the **Beekeeping Foundation Noč Boštjan** is another step forward in a relationship built through education, women’s empowerment, apitourism, and international cooperation.
We are pleased to continue this journey with **Boštjan Noč**, a respected figure in the international beekeeping community and a long-standing advocate for bees and beekeepers.
With **Apimondia 2027 in Dubai** ahead of us, we look forward to building on these connections and creating new opportunities for collaboration between the beekeeping communities of the **UAE and Slovenia**.
