From across the Seven Emirates of the UAE, Filipino educators came together under one roof—not merely to celebrate achievements, but to honour the passion, sacrifice, and dedication of those who shape the future of every generation.
On October 10, 2026, Educators’ Soirée 2026: An Evening of Excellence, Recognition & Celebration, organised by the Filipino International Teachers’ Society (FITS UAE) – Dubai and Northern Emirates , transformed Crowne Plaza Dubai into a gathering of pride, unity, and inspiration.
Twelve Outstanding Filipino Educators and sixteen Inspiring Filipino Educators were recognised for their excellence, leadership, innovation, dedication, and meaningful service to education and the Filipino community.
Led by Federico D. Dulla, Jr., LPT, MASPED, President of FITS UAE – Dubai and Northern Emirates , together with the dedicated FITS officers and volunteers, this milestone reflects a vision greater than recognition: to unite Filipino educators, elevate their contributions, and ensure that no educator is left behind.
We were deeply honoured by the presence of: H.E. Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver – Philippine Ambassador to the UAE , Hon. Venecio V. Legaspi – Assistant Secretary, Department of Migrant Workers, Atty. John Rio Bautista – Labour Attaché, Migrant Workers Office in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Ms. Aleah Marie B. Gica – Consul, Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Ms. Jeane R. Mendoza – Assistant Labour Attaché Dubai and Northern Emirates.

Educators’ Soirée is more than an awards ceremony. It is a powerful reminder that wherever Filipino educators may be—in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, or Fujairah—we share one calling, one commitment, and one heart for education.
Under our theme, “United as One: No Filipino Educator Left Behind,” we celebrate not only individual achievements but also the collective strength of a community that continues to teach, lead, serve, and inspire.
