The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers - UAE Chapter (PSME-UAE) celebrated 17 years of dedicated community service and professional excellence in developing Filipino mechanical engineers. A major highlight of the milestone event was the formal oath-taking ceremony of the chapter's newly elected officers.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Hon. Consul Paola Belle Ebora, Filipino Social Club (FILSOC) President Ericson Reyes, and Engr. Pasciano A. Defensor, PSME National Vice President for the Middle East.

In his address, FILSOC President Reyes commended the dedication and volunteer spirit of the PSME-UAE leadership team, led by Chapter President Engr. Richard Galas, while also recognizing the past presidents in attendance for their continued guidance.

Reyes highlighted the profound impact of the Filipino community, noting that Filipino Engineers, skills, talent and labor played a vital role in building the nation.

He reaffirmed FILSOC’s unwavering commitment to supporting the broader community, particularly PSME-UAE as they prepare to host the upcoming Middle East Conference in November 2026.

The Filipino Senior Citizens Club in Dubai was honored by the presence of Consul General Hon. Ambrossio Brian Enciso III, Labor Attaché Hon. Atty. John Rio Bautista, and the Filipino Social Club Board of Directors.
