Blankets +food for Boat (Abra) drivers in DeiraDxb to help them fight winter!
Dear facebookers!

Welcome to our valentines day event for the year 2023!!
Hope you have been doing great and continue to live the core values of giving back to the community of Dubai before, during and post covid!
it's now Time for some reality check!!
Did you know?
> Abra is derived from the Arabic word ‘Abaara’ which means to cross.
> The earliest known reference to the Dubai Creek, where the traditional boat is seen ferrying passengers, can be found in an 1822 report by a British naval surveyor.
> Since the middle of the 19th century, abras has served Dubai’s earliest traders who are buying and selling goods at the markets on both sides of the creek abra boar drivers were equally affected as covid stuck which resulted in a lack of tourists and hence impacted whatever little earnings they used to get . They are hopeful that good samaritans like us in the society would lend them a helping hand to help them tide through the crisis by providing to meet their basic needs at times.
so how do we help them?
